Conor McAleny scored his first senior goal against Rotherham on Tuesday night. The 22 year old scored his first senior goal since making the temporary switch from Everton to Cardiff City when his left footed volley went in to give the blue birds 3rd goal in the 35th minute.
Russell Slade was jubilant with the win and had this to say about the young English man ““McAleny he did really well, put in a real shift on that side; looked a real threat and he’s a good finisher. We’ve seen it in training and he nearly helped himself to a second goal in the second period as well.”
